And you gave me a great idea. We can leave the gate to the garden open as they begin to go into the meadow...maybe they will venture in to see us up close.Donna@Gardens Eye Viewhttp://gardenseyeview.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442329414502848033.post-91627539391410076972015-07-08T00:36:01.857-05:002015-07-08T00:36:01.857-05:00They are super cute. They're too cute to mind -- for now. But I'll be less tolerant when they start eating plants (or trying them) and antlering them in the fall.Pam/Digginghttp://www.penick.net/diggingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442329414502848033.post-36793041547136679322015-07-03T21:07:01.982-05:002015-07-03T21:07:01.982-05:00I've lived in my house for almost four years n...I've lived in my house for almost four years now, and see deer all the time. My neighbor said momma deer have had their newborn babies in her yard for several years now, which makes me wonder if this might not be the last time I get to experience such a cool part of nature.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01215678221173950533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442329414502848033.post-51605865735522888192015-07-03T21:02:42.031-05:002015-07-03T21:02:42.031-05:00It was so precious to see momma and babies reunite...It was so precious to see momma and babies reunited. I had read that mommas normally come back for their young in the evenings once they feel all danger has passed, but I was still a little concerned with how dangerous momma might have thought our yard was, mainly with my crazy excited dogs running around and licking the deer. Thankfully, it didn't seem to deter her.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01215678221173950533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442329414502848033.post-29398612170708993562015-07-03T21:00:29.908-05:002015-07-03T21:00:29.908-05:00They definitely were looking to "play" w...They definitely were looking to "play" with the new "dog."
